BSBIOS gathers with rural producers in Caseiros

Activity counted on the participation of nearly 200 farmers

On Tuesday afternoon (18), the unit of grain collection of BSBIOS in Caseiros achieved the Ist Fraternization with rural producers. The objective of the event was to present the unit and create closer ties with the farmers of that region.

The activity, which counted on the presence of approximately 200 people, began with the presentation of the industrial complex of BSBIOS and the work team. Yet, the importance of family agriculture in the National Program of Production and Use of Biodiesel (PNPB) was emphasized. Next, a program of grain market and commercial perspectives was shown. The encounter finished with fraternization.

To the Supply Director of BSBIOS, Gunnar Nebelung, occasions like this one are important. This was the first activity of this unit which purpose was to build a healthy and productive relationship with producers. We want to approach farmers who are our suppliers of raw material for the production of Biodiesel and Bran," he stated. "The unit has the important role of strengthening the link with family agriculture, providing support with regard to technical assistance, thus creating competitive advantages to the farmer who works for BSBIOS", emphasized Nebelung.

The activity happened in the unit of grain reception that is located on BR 285, Km 220, in Caseiros. The unit has capacity of storing seven thousand tons.
