BSBIOS grows in the ranking of the thousand largest companies in the country

Passo Fundense Industry reaches 676th position

BSBIOS advanced 118 positions in the ranking of the 1000 largest companies in the country in the special edition of Magazine Exame "The best and the Largest". This is the third time the company participates in the research and it is the third consecutive year it shows growing. In the edition of 2011, the industry of Passo Fundo reaches the 676th position, and in the publication of 2010 it was in position 794th, among the best in sales.

BSBIOS presented a turnover of R$ 564.6 million, recording a growth of 31.2% in comparison with the previous year. The ranking is based on data of 2010. The edition of the 38th yearbook of "The Best and the Largest" was achieved through data evaluation of around 3 thousand companies with base in their accounting demonstrations.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of BSBIOS, Erasmo Carlos Battistella, the position reflects the moment the company has experienced. "We are a young industry which demonstrates that it is possible to keep a continuous growing. We are glad for verifying that year by year our work has been recognized," he asserted. For next year, with the partnership of Petrobras Biofuel, also in the unit of Passo Fundo, we want to grow even more.

The yearbook is the most respectful and complete publication on the thousand main companies in the country, which objective is to measure the performance of the organizations individually. The criterion of classification used is the sales income (gross income), which is an indicator of the company's contribution to the society in terms of products and services offered.
