BSBIOS is the focus among the greatest companies of the south of the country

BSBIOS advanced 23 positions in the ranking

The industry of biodiesel, BSBIOS, makes part of the selected industrial group that moves the economy in Brazil. The company which was founded on15 of April, 2005, appears in the ranking of the 500 largest companies in the south of the country, which was published by Revista Amanhã, at the special edition "Grandes Líderes" - concerning 2011.

BSBIOS advanced 23 positions, reaching the 102º position, where as for the previous edition it was in the 125º position. Among the 100 largest companies of the south, the industry is in position 43, advancing 9 positions before the result of last edition. Last year, the company presented an increase in its turnover of 43.36%. To the chief executive officer of the company, Erasmo Carlos Battistella, it is great to verify that the company that includes a clean energetic and renewable matrix in the country continues to grow and be the focus. "We are a young industry which demonstrates that it is possible to maintain a continuous growth. We are glad to verify that every year the work of our team is recognized," he reported.

Classification is obtained through the balance evaluations. The weighted average value (VPG), a specific indicator to define the strength of the companies - and which matches liquid patrimony (with 50%), gross turnover (40%) and profit (10%), is taken into consideration in the ranking.

The awards, which happen since 1991, are promoted by Revista Amanhã, specialized in economy and business, and PricewatherhouseCoopers.
