BSBIOS provides toys and food for poor children

In order to change the scenario of poor children in Passo Fundo at Christmas, and so that they receive gifts, BSBIOS carried out campaign "Natal da Cooperação". The initiative made the collaborators to donate toys to the children and, on the other hand, BSBIOS donated the same number of toys collected. Food was also collected during a traditional game named Grenal between the collaborators of the company, which happened at Stadium Vermelhão da Serra. The chief executive officer of BSBIOS, Erasmo Carlos Battistella, emphasized that the company supports initiatives that benefit the community. "Our best reward is to see the smile on the children’s face for receiving a gift," said the businessman. Last Friday (21), more than 300 toys and 154 pounds of food were delivered. The entities or communities benefited were chosen by the collaborators. As the volume of donation was great, the toys were divided between the three most voted communities, to wit: Project Transformação em Arte, on Vila Popular; Escola de Educação Infantil Berço do Bebê, on District São José and Association BW, on District José Alexandre Zacchia. The company believes that the Project will make the collaborators to develop important values towards collective practices of solidarity; to encourage the volunteer work; to develop respect to diversity and, yet, strengthen attitudes of cooperation, responsibility, participation and sensibility, showing that through small actions it is possible to realize the dream of a child.
