BSBIOS supports construction of Kiosk of Reading

Cultural Action aims at encouraging reading

The Kiosk of Reading in Park Antonino Xavier e Oliveira, in front of Hospital da Cidade, in Passo Fundo-RS, was inaugurated last Friday (08/05). The space takes the name of the passo-fundense writer Roberto Pirovano Zanatta, author of three infant books and who passed away in 2008 when he was 10 years old only.

The necessary resources for the work were collected together with companies of different segments in the city of Passo Fundo, among them is BSBIOS. In the total, R$69,5 thousands were collected. The resources supplement was donated by Zanatta family.

The Chief Executive Officer of BSBIOS Erasmo Carlos Battistella highlights that initiatives like this one help the development of the passo-fundense community. "BSBIOS is happy for contributing with actions which attract the interest for culture and reading and, that make leisure possible to citizens," he asserted.

The cultural space will count on the multimedia collection and will offer to the community courses of digital inclusion, in the same format as the Largo da Literatura, located at Park Armando Sbeghen. It will work daily, from 8:30am to 17:30pm, and all activities that will be achieved count on the partnership between the University of Passo Fundo (UPF), the City Hall of Passo Fundo and Institute Roberto Pirovano Zanatta.
