BSBIOS’s collaborators participate in the Vª SIPAT

Among 15 and 19 of October, the BSBIOS’s collaborators participated in the Vª Intern Week of Work Accidents Prevention (SIPAT), promoted by the Internal Committee of Accidents Prevention (CIPA - management 2012/2013). The week was full of activities that aimed at the awareness on the environment, health, security at work and accidents prevention.

The chief executive officer of BSBIOS, Erasmo Carlos Battistella, highlights that it is important that the worker achieves his activities with security. "SIPAT is a moment that makes possible to reflect on how much important it is to prevent accidents and keep health. It is very important for us that the collaborator returns to his or her house healthy", said Battistella.

A month before SIPAT, the collaborators participated in a contest of phrases where the winner was the operator of our industry process, Elizeu Batista, who wrote: "Work with security, health is gold. Preserve the environment, which is our greater treasure." He gained a television and had his phrase printed on the participants’ T-shirts.

SIPAT counted on lectures, film sections, debates, emergency alarm tests and a socio-cultural gincana, which counted on the participation of eight teams, each one with ten participants. "Congratulations for the teams, they performed all activities with determination, which enable it to fulfill its role of making people aware of the environment, health, work security in a playful way, as well as integrating the collaborators," emphasized the president of CIPA, Alexandre Hauschild Schmidt.

One of the most important activities was blood donation, where 76 donors went to Hemopasso. There was a donation of a perishable food kit as well. Approximately 300 Kg were collected and offered to two institutions chosen by the champion team: School of Children Education Berço do Bebê in district São José, and School of Children Education Bom Jesus in vila Bom Jesus.

Other competitions that counted on the participants’ endeavor were a battle cry and a parody, both should include the themes of the gincana. Also, there were competitions of general knowledge, logics, sport, and health proof, among others. The Champion team of the gincana was Risco Zero, in second position was team Manutenção and in the third position was Equiperigo.
