Program Brasilagro interviews Erasmo Carlos Battistella about the future of biodiesel

The chief executive officer of BSBIOS and also president of the Brazilian Association of Biodiesel Producers (Aprobio), Erasmo Carlos Battistella, was interviewed in the fifth program which discusses the crisis and alternatives for biofuels. Aprobio coordinated the creation of the Parliamentary Front in Defense of Biodiesel and it has its proposal, which is a regulatory mark, already in process at the Executive Office.

Ethanol was included in the energetic matrix in 1975 while biodiesel was included in December 2004. This shows that the sugar-energy industry needs pro-active leaderships with strategic vision, unlike what happens with biodiesel producers.
