In the afternoon (07-23), the mayor of Passo Fundo Airton Lângaro Dipp, together with the Secretário Municipal de Desenvolvimento Econômico Marcos Cittolin, visited BSBIOS. At the opportunity, the chief executive officer Erasmo Carlos Battistella and the Gerente Industrial da Esmagadora Vinicius Dallabrida exposed data of ongoing works in the industry. The businessman reported about the company enlargement with the construction of an extraction unit and warehouses that will have the capacity to storage 120 thousand tons of soybean and canola and 66 thousand tons of meal. The new stage of the industry will create 120 more direct employments, besides thousands indirect, and respectively, a flow of more than 400 trucks in the company.
Battistella took the opportunity to give thanks to the partnership the town has with BSBIOS since its installation, and recently, with the contribution to asphalt access. The chief executive officer also requested improvement in the clover that gives access to the industry by road BR-285, "there will be an increase in the number of trucks that will start riding by the local from November, when the works will be finished, that is why this improvement is necessary", he asserted.
Therefore, mayor Dipp stated that the City Hall will develop a project to meet the company needs. "We are talking to the DNIT concerning the duplication of the highway and we will include this order", emphasized Dipp.
