Toasted soybean meal results from the process of extracting soybean oil with hexane. It is used as an ingredient in the production of feed for poultry, pigs, cattle, sheep, horses and goats. The product is sold in bulk.
Soybean meal at the Passo Fundo/RS unit is produced with 45.5% and 46% and, at the La Paloma unit, in Paraguay, it is produced with 47% protein.
The bran produced by Be8 in Passo Fundo complies with the criteria of Good Manufacturing Practices, being certified in GMP+B2 and GMP+B3, being in line with the tolerable levels in the raw material used, established by specific legislation, in regarding pesticide residues, inorganic and microbiological contaminants. This ensures compliance with international requirements related to Food Safety in its production and commercialization chain.
